The Long Awaited Assistant Referee Course is Finally Here!

In January, USA Rugby will launch the Level 1 Assistant Referee (Online Learning) — The Referee and Match Official education program prepares members to make the game safer and more enjoyable for players and fans alike, providing a valuable service to the game. This course is entirely online and will normally cost $20, but for this limited time, NERFU members can sign up for free!
USA Rugby Level 1 Assistant Referee (Online Learning)
Who it’s for: This is for individuals who wish to act as an Assistant Referee. Minimum age 15.
What it is: An entirely online course consisting of 3 modules, covering Team of 3 requirements, Touch Law, and foul play reporting.
How to take it: The course costs $20 (free until December 31).
Access them in the RugbyX Learning Center at usa.rugby

=> Click “Enroll”, then “Start Learning Now”

These modules are best completed on a laptop/desktop. If you must use your phone, you may be prompted to download the Go Learn app; decline that and complete the course in your browser.
To receive the course for FREE, you must ENROLL by December 31st. Once you start the course, you have 25 days to complete it. You do not need to complete the course in one sitting – your progress will be saved as you go, and your expiration date will be displayed on the course thumbnail under “My Courses and Learning Plans”.
Starting January 1, access to the course will cost $20.
