Over 1200 Ruggers from Across N. America to Descend on Boston

Boston will welcome one of the most exciting international rugby events on the calendar—the 2025 NORAM Cup

This summer, Boston will welcome one of the most exciting international rugby events on the calendar—the 2025 NORAM Cup. Set against the backdrop of one of America’s most passionate sports cities, the NORAM Cup brings together inclusive rugby clubs from across North America in a celebration of athleticism, community, and pride.

The NORAM Cup is more than a tournament—it’s a movement. Since its inception, the event has been a testament to the power of rugby to unite players of all backgrounds and identities. As teams from Canada, the United States, and Mexico descend on Boston, spectators can expect high-caliber competition on the pitch and an atmosphere of camaraderie and belonging off it.

The tournament is hosted by NERFU member club, Boston Ironsides, and will take place May 30 – June 1, 2025 in Boston, featuring full XVs matches and a welcoming festival environment. This year’s Cup continues to build on the legacy of inclusive rugby while showcasing the growth and talent of the International Gay Rugby (IGR) community.

New England Rugby Football Union is proud to see Boston Ironsides play host to this premier event. With our region’s long tradition of rugby excellence and passionate fan base, we look forward to seeing the energy and inclusivity of the NORAM Cup make a lasting impact on our local rugby landscape.
